0-10: ноль, оди́н, два, три, четы́ре, пять, шесть, семь, во́семь, де́вять, де́сять
11-19: оди́ннадцать, двена́дцать, трина́дцать, четы́рнадцать, пятна́дцать, шестна́дцать, семна́дцать, восемна́дцать, девятна́дцать
20 - 90: два́дцать, три́дцать, со́рок, пятьдеся́т, шестьдес́т, се́мьдесят, во́семьдесят, девяно́сто
100 - 900: сто, две́сти, три́ста, четы́реста, пятьсо́т, шестьсо́т, семьсо́т, восемьсо́т, девятьсо́т
1,000: ты́сяча
1,000,000: миллио́н
1,000,000,000: миллиа́рд
1,000,000,000,000: триллио́н
When counting, use раз, два, три, ... instead of один, два, три, ....
Formatting numbers
In Russian, the thousands separator is a space and the decimals are separated via a comma: 1 234 567,89.
- 🇬🇧 1,000 → 🇷🇺 1 000
- 🇬🇧 10,000,000 → 🇷🇺10 000 000
- 🇬🇧 0.75 → 🇷🇺 0,75
Compound numbers
Simply combine the number words, same as you do in english.
21 - два́дцать оди́н
58 - пятьдеся́т во́семь
99 - девяно́сто де́вять
101 - сто оди́н
125 - сто два́дцать пять
999 - девятьсо́т девяно́сто де́вять
1 000 - одна́ ты́сяча
2 345 - две ты́сячи три́ста со́рок пять
5 000 - пять ты́сяч
10 001 - де́сять ты́сяч оди́н
125 000 - сто два́дцать пять ты́сяч
Numerals vs. Nouns
All small number words from 1 оди́н to 900 девятьсо́т are technically numerals.
The larger number words ты́сяча, миллио́н, миллиа́рд, триллио́н are technically nouns and thus have a gender, a plural form, can take an adjective (e.g. больши́е миллио́ны. That's why 3,000 is "три ты́сячи" and not "три ты́сяча" (три demands a genitive singular).

ноль and нуль
For 0 you can use both ноль and нуль. Both mean “zero”, but:
- ноль → more common in everyday language
- нуль → more technical / mathematical
Example: температура ниже нуля́ (the temperature is below zero) is often нуля́ and not ноля́. As a beginner it's safe to just always use ноль for 0.
Negative numbers
In Russian, negative numbers are formed by adding ми́нус before the number. This doesn't change the form and the number itself follows normal rules.
-1 → ми́нус оди́н
-21 → ми́нус со́рок семь
-1,234 → ми́нус одна́ ты́сяча две́сти три́ста со́рок четы́ре
